Decks that rely on generating a lot of artifacts can take advantage of the Improvise ability to cast this card efficiently. However, there are potentially better cards like Chief Engineer or Grand Architect that provide similar effects with additional benefits, so Foundry Assembler might not see as much play in competitive decks.
