Jagged Cutlass would generally fit best in an aggressive or tempo-focused deck that wants to turn a cheap equipment into immediate pressure, especially if the deck has units that attack often, care about combat buffs, or can benefit from sticking a reusable stat boost onto a key threat; it is less appealing in slower control decks unless the equipment effect is very efficient. Whether it should see play depends heavily on the exact bonus the card provides after being equipped, because “Equip 1” plus a 3-cost investment is only good if the attachment meaningfully improves combat or adds lasting value. In most cases, if there are cheaper equipment options, higher-stat weapons, or equipment that gives a stronger immediate impact, those are likely better than Jagged Cutlass, especially if they cost less to deploy or give a more relevant effect.
