Hackmon (Appmon/Hacking variant) is best suited for purple decks that actively want cards in the trash, especially link-focused or combo-based builds that gain value from self-mill, such as Beelzemon-style trash-centric decks, Mervamon/Minervamon recursion builds, or any purple strategy that triggers effects when cards are discarded or trashed. Because it replaces itself with a draw and enables controlled trashing once per turn when linked, it helps set up graveyard-based win conditions while maintaining hand flow.
