About Tunnel Ignus

Tunnel Ignus, Creature — elemental, designed by Scott Chou first released in Oct, 2010 in the set Scars of Mirrodin. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of A$ 0.76.

A deck that focuses on disrupting an opponent's land strategy, such as a land destruction or land denial deck, would benefit from using Tunnel Ignus to punish opponents for playing multiple lands in a turn. However, there are more efficient options like Blood Moon or Magus of the Moon that can have a broader impact on an opponent's mana base. While Tunnel Ignus can be situationally useful, it may not be a top choice for competitive play unless the deck specifically revolves around punishing land plays.

Rules

01/01/11

Whenever a land enters the battlefield under an opponent’s control, this ability triggers only if another land had already entered the battlefield under that opponent’s control this turn. It doesn’t matter if that other land is still on the battlefield, is still under that player’s control, or is still a land.
