A deck that focuses on casting high-cost spells, such as control or ramp decks, would benefit from including Thryx, the Sudden Storm. Its ability to reduce the cost of spells with mana value 5 or greater and make them uncounterable can be a game-changer in certain matchups. While there may be other cards with similar effects, Thryx's flash ability and flying make it a versatile and powerful option that could definitely see play in the right deck.
