Despair Blast

About Despair Blast

Despair Blast, Digimon/option ultimatemachine/glowing dawn/beatbreak, first released in September 2026 in the set Timeless Bonds Release Event Cards. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 11.94.

Despair Blast is best suited to yellow/purple control decks that want inexpensive interaction while advancing a security-manipulation or deletion plan, especially builds that can make use of both colors consistently rather than splashing it into a mostly single-color deck; however, it is unlikely to be a staple because yellow/purple already has stronger removal options, with **Flame Hellscythe** generally being better when its security requirement is active since it both deletes an opposing Digimon and can cheat out a Level 5, while **Chaos Degradation** is preferable for answering large or protection-heavy threats because bottom-decking avoids most deletion effects, so Despair Blast should only see play as a budget option, extra removal copies, or if its exact cost/effect lines up particularly well with a dedicated archetype.
