Gasamon

About Gasamon

Gasamon, Digimon rookiemollusk/shambala/tb, designed by None first released in July 2026 in the set Digital World Shambala and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.13.

Gasamon (BT-era rookie, 3-cost blue) fits best in aggressive blue decks that attack early and often—especially Rookie Rush or low-curve tempo builds that tend to empty their hand quickly—since its **[When Attacking] [Once Per Turn] draw 1 if you have 7 or fewer cards** rewards swinging while maintaining hand flow. However, most modern blue decks (e.g., Gabumon-based draw engines, Veemon/Jamming builds, or hybrid/Source-strip strategies) have more efficient rookies that either draw without a hand-size condition (like certain Gabumon variants) or provide stronger pressure (Jamming Veemon) or utility (searchers and memory gain rookies). Because the draw is conditional and only triggers on attack, Gasamon is generally outclassed by rookies that provide unconditional draw or better synergy, so it rarely sees competitive play today and would mainly be considered in very budget or casual low-hand blue builds rather than optimized lists.
