A dragon tribal deck in a white-heavy control strategy would benefit from including Scalelord Reckoner as it provides protection for your dragon creatures by instantly removing threats when targeted. However, for a more competitive option, Dragonlord Dromoka could be a better choice since it also has flying and provides a form of protection by preventing opponents from casting spells on your turn. Scalelord Reckoner could see play in specific dragon-themed decks but may not be a staple given its restrictive mana cost and limited impact compared to other options.
