Din of the Fireherd, Sorcery, designed by Dave Dorman first released in May, 2008 in the set Shadowmoor. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of £ 0.75.
This card would benefit a deck focused on controlling the board by having a mix of black and red creatures to maximize its effect. While Din of the Fireherd can be powerful in the right deck, there are potentially better options like Crux of Fate or Decree of Pain that offer more versatile board control or card advantage. However, if the deck is built around maximizing the sacrifice and land destruction aspects of Din of the Fireherd, it could definitely see play in a strategy centered around resource denial and creature removal.

The parts of the spell happen in order. When determining how many black creatures and how many red creatures you control, keep in mind that you just put a creature onto the battlefield that’s black and red.
