About Polymorph
Polymorph, Sorcery, designed by Robert Bliss first released in May, 2020 in the set Mirage and was printed exactly in 6 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of £ 1.13.
Polymorph is particularly effective in control or tempo decks that aim to manage the board while generating value from creature-based strategies, as it not only removes a threat but also replaces it with a potentially more powerful creature from the opponent's library. However, decks that focus on creature-based combos or those that can manipulate the top of the library, like a Polymorph deck using cards such as Ponder or Brainstorm, may find it more synergistic. While Polymorph can be powerful, cards like Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares are often considered better options for creature removal due to their efficiency and lack of drawbacks. Overall, while Polymorph has its niche, it may not see widespread play compared to more streamlined removal options.
