This Singing Tree card could be beneficial in a control or stax-style deck that aims to slow down aggressive strategies by neutralizing key attacking creatures. However, there are potentially better options like Maze of Ith or Maze of Shadows that offer similar effects with added versatility or protection. Changes creature’s current power to zero (as opposed to giving it -X/-0, like before) but does not prevent raising it after the Tree has been used on it.
