A deck that focuses on controlling the board and slowing down the opponent's resources would benefit from using Tangle Wire, such as a Stax or Prison deck in Magic: the Gathering. While Tangle Wire can be effective in disrupting the opponent's game plan, there are arguably better options available, such as Winter Orb or Smokestack, which provide similar disruptive effects with potentially greater impact.
