Plaxmanta, Creature — beast, designed by Alan Pollack first released in May, 2006 in the set Dissension and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 56.05.
This Plaxmanta card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on protecting creatures and maintaining board presence, particularly in a tempo or control strategy. While it offers protection with shroud for your creatures, the requirement to spend {G} to avoid sacrificing it can be a drawback. There are potentially better options like Spellskite or Kira, Great Glass-Spinner that offer similar protection without the sacrifice condition, but Plaxmanta could still see play in specific deck archetypes where its abilities are strategically valuable.

If this enters the battlefield in a way other than announcing it as a spell, then the appropriate mana can’t have been paid, and you’ll have to sacrifice it.
