Bearmon (BT25-009) is a very simple, vanilla-style Rookie whose only effect is a constant +1000 DP, so it fits best in aggressive Red rookie-rush or low-curve Red tempo decks that want slightly stronger early bodies for trading and early security pressure, particularly if you are filling space in a Beast/Iliad/Three Musketeers–adjacent theme and care about trait synergy; however, because it provides no draw, memory gain, search, or inheritable effect, it is generally outclassed by stronger Red rookies like Agumon (various versions that grant DP boosts to Greymon lines or provide memory gain), Guilmon (search or DP-based synergy versions), or other BT-era rookies that offer on-play search or inheritable +DP/security effects, which give both consistency and scaling into midgame.
