A deck focusing on sacrificing creatures for value, such as a sacrifice or aristocrats deck, would benefit from including Devouring Swarm. However, there are better options like Bloodghast or Gravecrawler that provide more consistent value and have additional synergies in those types of decks. Devouring Swarm may not see as much play due to its limited impact compared to other similar cards.
