Locket of Yesterdays, Artifact, designed by Dany Orizio first released in May, 2020 in the set Time Spiral. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of NZ$ 2.59.
This card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on casting multiple copies of the same spell, such as a deck built around a specific combo or synergy. However, there are better alternatives like Snapcaster Mage or Past in Flames that provide more flexibility and value in different situations. Overall, Locket of Yesterdays may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited application and reliance on specific graveyard conditions.

Locket of Yesterdays reduces only the amount of mana you need to pay to cast a spell. The spell’s mana cost and converted mana cost are not affected.

The spell being cast doesn’t reduce its own cost, even if you’re casting it from a graveyard. At the time the cost is reduced, the spell is on the stack.
