Destroy Mode would only benefit a dedicated red/black Megashaman, Titan, or Iliad/TS deck that can reliably reduce its 16-cost requirement, cheat it into play, or generate substantial memory, because paying 16 normally is far too slow and risky; however, its actual value cannot be judged without the card’s full effect text, since the abilities determine whether it provides enough removal, security pressure, protection, or board control to justify the cost. In most decks, cheaper red/black boss Digimon or cards that can be played for less—such as Omnimon, Chaosdramon, or other archetype-specific finishers—would likely be better unless Chronomon has an unusually powerful effect or can be played without paying its full cost, so it should not see competitive play by default and should only be tested in a focused build designed around summoning it efficiently.
