Dalphomon fits best in a green Link-focused or suspend-control deck that can consistently trigger its “[When this Digimon gets linked]” effect, especially builds that swarm smaller Digimon to enable frequent linking and capitalize on suspending opposing threats to control the board and apply pressure; it synergizes well with green’s natural ability to suspend opposing Digimon and punish them for being suspended. However, at a 12-cost play cost, it’s relatively heavy unless you’re evolving into it efficiently, and many competitive green decks may prefer more immediately impactful Mega-level Digimon such as BloomLordmon (for wide-board aggression and memory gain), Shivamon (for control and locking down options), or Rosemon variants (for stronger suspension-based board control).
