This card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on artifact synergy and ramp, particularly in decks that can take advantage of Mox Opal's mana acceleration. However, there are better options available such as Mox Opal itself, which provides immediate mana acceleration without the need for an additional card like Quicksilver Lapidary. As such, Quicksilver Lapidary may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks unless there are specific synergies or strategies that can make use of its abilities effectively.
