Terastodon would be beneficial in a green ramp or control deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's board by removing key noncreature permanents while also generating value through the creation of Elephant tokens. However, in competitive Magic: the Gathering formats, there are often more efficient options available for removal and board control, such as Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath, which provides card advantage and life gain. Terastodon may not see play in highly optimized decks but could still be a fun and impactful inclusion in more casual or thematic decks.
