A deck focused on casting a high number of instant and sorcery spells, such as a spellslinger or tempo deck, would benefit from including Magmatic Channeler. While it can provide a solid power boost if the graveyard condition is met, there are potentially better options available depending on the deck's strategy and format, such as Young Pyromancer or Snapcaster Mage. However, Magmatic Channeler could still see play in certain builds that can consistently fill the graveyard and take advantage of its looting ability.
