About Seraph

Seraph, Creature — angel, designed by Christopher Rush first released in Jun, 1995 in the set Ice Age and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.49.

This card, Seraph, could benefit a white control deck that focuses on removal and board control, as it provides a powerful way to generate additional creatures and maintain board presence. While Seraph's ability can be impactful in certain situations, there are other cards like Sun Titan or Baneslayer Angel that offer more immediate value and versatility, making them potentially better choices for competitive play. However, Seraph could still see play in casual or themed decks looking to capitalize on its unique resurrection ability.

Rules

09/16/07

If the other creature is a token, it will cease to exist after being exiled. It won’t be returned to the battlefield.

09/16/07

Once the ability triggers, you’ll return the card to the battlefield under your control at the end of the turn even if you no longer control Seraph at that time. In fact, if Seraph leaves the battlefield before the card is returned to the battlefield, you’ll never have to sacrifice it as a result of this ability. If Seraph remains on the battlefield but changes controllers before the card is returned, you’ll still get the returned card. However, in that scenario, you’ll still have to sacrifice it if you later regain control Seraph and then lose control of it once more.

10/04/04

You do not get the creature back if the creature is not still in the graveyard at the end of the turn.
