In today’s article, we’ll be taking a look at one of the decks making the biggest waves in the current metagame. Ceresmon is another deck built around the characters from Digimon Time Stranger, and it has made a major impact on the TCG.Let’s get straight to the deck and see what makes it so powerful. The Ceresmon TS DeckToday’s list was piloted by xherioh, who finished in first place at Bandai’s LCQ in Thailand on September 20, 2026, with a nine-win streak and one loss. The deck uses Ceresmon and other Digimon with the TS (Time Stranger) trait to put bodies into play while suspending and unsuspending both players’ Digimon. This back-and-forth creates discounts, activates removal effects, and helps protect our cards. One particularly notable aspect is that the deck runs only four Level 4 Digimon, while the higher levels have various ways to enter play directly. Since this is a TS deck, our Tamers also deserve special mention, as they significantly improve our game plan.Today’s deck is:Decklist via Egman EventsThe Digi-EggOur Digi-Egg is Wanyamon #BT24-004, whose inherited effect draws a card when we play an Iliad Digimon once per turn. With it under a Digimon in the Battle Area, our Digimon entering play generate more resources for our hand, while also supporting effects that put bodies into play for free. The RookiesFloramon #BT25-047 is a searcher that reveals three cards when it enters play, adding a Vegetation or Shaman and a TS card. This could let us find both versions of Ceresmon at once, for example, while its inherited effect gives all our Digimon +1000 DP during our turn.Elecmon #BT24-031 and Lunamon #BT25-022 reveal three cards and find an Iliad and a TS card. Elecmon has an inherited effect that lets us check the top card of Security when attacking and gain Recovery +1 if we run out of security, once per turn. Lunamon provides Jamming, allowing the stack to survive battles against Digimon revealed from Security. The single copy of Tapirmon #BT24-043 rounds out our search package, finding our Shaman and TS cards. Its inherited effect also suspends an opposing Digimon when attacking, once per turn.Pomumon #BT9-047, meanwhile, prevents both players from playing Digimon by effects, making it a Floodgate. We need to choose carefully when to play it, since this lock also affects our own free plays. It is therefore best used after we have established the board we want to preserve.AegiomonAegiomon #BT24-034 is our only Level 4. When it enters play, digivolves, or leaves the breeding area, it lets us look at the top card of our Security and play a TS Tamer for free, provided that Tamer has a different name from those we already control. This puts Kanan or Homeros into play without paying their costs, setting up memory and effects for the following turns. Aegiomon also has Barrier and passes that keyword on as an inherited effect, allowing us to trash a security card to prevent deletion in battle. The Lv. 5sSirenmon #BT25-039 protects our other Shaman or Iliad Digimon and Tamers when they would leave the field for any reason other than our own effects, deleting itself to prevent them from leaving. When it is deleted, it can go to the bottom of our Security face up, where it continues to provide value. At the end of our turn, its effect in that area lets us play Ceresmon from our hand with a seven-memory reduction, then place Sirenmon under it. With the BT25 Ceresmon and two suspended Digimon on the field, we get another five-memory discount and play the Mega for free. Sirenmon ends its first incarnation by going to Security, then immediately takes on another role.Deramon #BT25-055 can suspend a Digimon when it enters play or digivolves, and can unsuspend one of ours if there are at least two suspended Digimon. When Deramon itself becomes suspended, once per turn it plays a compatible Digimon with 4000 DP or less from our hand for free, including our TS Rookies and Pomumon. We can suspend it with its own effect, attack with it, or use Alliance to put a searcher into play and add our next play to hand. Deramon and Sirenmon’s inherited effects can also redirect an opponent’s attack to one of our suspended Digimon, once during the opponent’s turn.CeresmonCeresmon #BT25-059 costs twelve to play but gets a five-memory reduction if there are already two or more suspended Digimon on either side of the field. When it enters play or digivolves, it can suspend up to two Digimon, including our own, and protects our suspended Vegetation or TS Digimon from opposing Digimon effects until the end of the opponent’s turn. This protection lets us keep our pieces suspended while the Level 5s’ inherited effects redirect attacks toward them. We still need to account for the DP involved in those battles and for effects from Options or Tamers, which are not covered by this ability.Whenever any Digimon becomes suspended, once per turn, Ceresmon gives an opposing Digimon -3000 DP for each suspended Digimon on the field. With four suspended bodies, for example, that means -12000 DP, which is enough to threaten many Level 6 Digimon.Ceresmon #BT26-032 is the goddess’s Dual version. It can digivolve into the twelve-cost version for two memories and uses the Succession Keyword to keep Ceresmon’s effects closer to the top of its sources. This lets us retain the first version’s protection and DP reduction. When it digivolves, it gives all opposing suspended Digimon -5000 DP. We can then suspend one of our Digimon and, if it is our turn, play or use a Vegetation or TS card from our hand with a five-memory reduction. It also has Alliance, allowing us to suspend another Digimon when attacking to add its DP and gain Security Attack +1 for that attack. With Deramon, paying that cost also puts another Rookie into play, connecting our attack to the next search. Its Option side, Famis, costs five, suspends two opposing Digimon or Tamers, and prevents three opposing Digimon or Tamers from unsuspending until the end of their turn. Then, Arts Digivolve lets us evolve a compatible Digimon onto Ceresmon for free.Bacchusmon and JupitermonBacchusmon #BT25-077, my favorite Olympos XII, costs twelve and gets a five-memory reduction when the levels of both players’ Digimon on the field add up to at least twelve. With the reduction provided by the new Ceresmon, we can play it for two memories while taking advantage of both effects. When it enters play or digivolves, Bacchusmon plays a TS Digimon with 6000 DP or less from our hand for free, usually Sirenmon, Deramon, or Aegiomon. Once per turn, when a Digimon enters play or digivolves, you may suspend a Digimon. If that play or evolution happened by an effect, delete the opponent’s Digimon with the lowest DP. This ability checks both players, allowing it to punish the opponent’s effect-based plays as well.Jupitermon #BT26-033 has Raid, Alliance, and Engage, allowing it to attack at the end of the turn. When it digivolves, it checks the top card of our Security and, during our turn, lets us play or use an Iliad or TS card with a five-memory reduction. Its Option side, Wide Plasment, costs two memories plus one for each card in our Security, deletes all opposing Digimon with the lowest DP, and gives us Recovery +1. Arts Digivolve then lets us use a compatible Level 5 as a base for Jupitermon.Jupitermon also protects our TS Digimon and Tamers by placing itself at the bottom of Security when they would leave the field. The card immediately beneath it becomes the Digimon’s new bottom source, preserving our resources and setting up another evolution. The Tamers and the OptionKanan Yuki #BT26-090 gains one memory at the start of the Main Phase if we have four or less. At the end of the turn, it can suspend to use a TS Option from our hand, reducing its cost based on the opponent’s memory. If we pass them three memories, Famis can be used by paying two. Dan Yuki & Kanan Yuki #BT24-085 also enables a similar play: when it suspends at the end of the turn, it lets us use a TS Option for free as long as its cost does not exceed the opponent’s memory, then allows one of our TS Digimon to attack.Homeros #BT24-102 generates memory, gives our TS Digimon +1000 DP, and can suspend at the end of the turn to repeat the play or digivolution effect of an Olympos XII. Repeating Bacchusmon puts another Digimon into play, while repeating Ceresmon sets up more suspensions and protection. When you have five or more memories at the start of the Main Phase, Homeros can suspend to draw a card, making it unavailable for this repetition that turn. Finally, Central Town: Throne Room #BT24-094 costs three, adds the bottom card of our Security to our hand, and takes its place face up. It then lets us play a green or yellow TS card from our hand with a three-memory reduction, which would let us play Floramon or Elecmon for free. While revealed in Security, it gives our green or yellow TS Digimon +2000 DP, but we need to be careful not to place it under Sirenmon in Security, as that would prevent its effect from working. How to PlayIn the early turns, we want to search for our pieces and set up our Tamers with Aegiomon. Deramon and Sirenmon then help prepare the arrival of our Megas, using suspensions to reduce their costs and multiply the Digimon on the field. Before ending the turn, we need to count the opponent’s memory and choose the order of our Tamers. Famis suspends the targets Ceresmon intends to remove, while Homeros can repeat Bacchusmon to put Deramon into play and take advantage of its on-play effect. The order of your Tamers’ Triggers matters when Kanan pays the remaining cost of an Option, because that payment increases the opponent’s memory and can unlock a more expensive Option for Dan and Kanan during the same turn transition. It is also worth holding Pomumon until we have finished making our effect-based plays, preserving the option to play our Megas and searchers before preventing the opponent from doing the same.Final ThoughtsThis is a very fun control deck, and it also lets us use my favorite Olympos XII. The TS Shell is quite popular, and the fact that all its pieces synergize with one another makes it much easier to build increasingly powerful decks without sacrificing consistency.Until next time!
