Dimir Informant would be a great addition to a Dimir control or surveil deck, providing card selection and graveyard interaction. While it is a solid card for its mana cost, there are more powerful options like Thought Erasure or Notion Rain that offer additional benefits beyond just surveilling. However, Dimir Informant can still be a valuable inclusion for players looking to maximize their surveil strategy and maintain card advantage.

When you surveil, you may put all the cards you look at back on top of your library, you may put all of those cards into your graveyard, or you may put some of those cards on top and the rest of them into your graveyard.
