This card, Evangelize, would benefit a control deck that focuses on stealing key creatures from opponents to disrupt their strategy. While it offers flexibility with the buyback ability, there are more efficient options like Control Magic or Treachery that provide similar effects without the additional cost, making them better choices for competitive play. However, for a casual or themed deck centered around stealing creatures, Evangelize could still see play for its unique flavor and playstyle.
