Glarecaster, Creature — bird cleric, designed by Dan Frazier first released in Oct, 2002 in the set Onslaught. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 8.47.
Glarecaster would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on protecting key creatures or the player from damage. However, there are more efficient cards like Giver of Runes or Mother of Runes that provide similar protection abilities at a lower cost, making them better choices for most decks. Glarecaster may not see much play due to its high mana cost and the availability of better alternatives in the current Magic: The Gathering metagame.

If both you and this card would be dealt damage at the same time, or if either you or this card would be dealt damage from multiple sources at the same time, the redirection will apply to both chunks of damage.
