Miscalculation, Instant, designed by Jeff Laubenstein first released in Feb, 1999 in the set Urza's Legacy and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Brawl. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 6.81.
Miscalculation would be a valuable addition to a control deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a cheap and efficient way to counter spells and disrupt opponents' plans. However, in a competitive setting, more versatile and powerful counterspells like Mana Leak or Force of Will may be preferred over Miscalculation due to their broader applications and higher impact on the game. Nonetheless, Miscalculation could still find a place in budget or casual decks where its cycling ability can provide additional card draw options.

Cycling is an activated ability. Effects that interact with activated abilities (such as Stifle or Rings of Brighthearth) will interact with cycling. Effects that interact with spells (such as Remove Soul or Faerie Tauntings) will not.
