Wizened Snitches could be beneficial in a control or tempo deck that wants to disrupt the opponent's strategy by knowing their top card and potentially countering or preparing for it. However, there are better options like Vendilion Clique or True-Name Nemesis that offer more impactful abilities for the same mana cost, making Wizened Snitches less likely to see play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.
