Een kaartspel dat zich richt op agressieve strategieën en +1/+1 counters gebruikt, zou profiteren van Chaos Imps, vooral in een op rood gebaseerd kaartspel met manieren om Unleash consistent te activeren. Er zijn echter potentieel betere opties zoals Thundermaw Hellkite of Stormbreath Dragon die vergelijkbare vaardigheden bieden met onmiddellijke impact, waardoor Chaos Imps minder snel in competitieve Magic: the Gathering-decks zullen spelen.
