About Molten Birth

Molten Birth, Sorcery, designed by Jaime Jones first released in Jul, 2013 in the set Magic 2014 and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 3.35.

A deck that focuses on token generation and aggressive strategies, such as a red aggro or token deck, would benefit from using Molten Birth. While the card provides value by creating two Elemental tokens, the coin flip mechanic adds an element of randomness that may not always be reliable. Other cards like Dragon Fodder or Hordeling Outburst may be better options for consistent token generation without the risk of losing the card. Molten Birth could see play in casual or fun decks looking to embrace the chaos of coin flips, but may not be a competitive choice in more serious environments.

Rules

12/07/18

If you win the flip, Molten Birth goes directly from the stack to its owner’s hand. It never goes to a graveyard.
