Shimian Specter, Creature — specter, designed by Anthony S. Waters first released in May, 2007 in the set Future Sight and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 4.66.
A deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's hand and graveyard, such as a control or discard deck, would benefit from including Shimian Specter. While there may be more efficient cards for similar effects, such as Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek, Shimian Specter can still be a valuable addition to a deck looking to disrupt the opponent's resources and potentially gain card advantage. Its ability to exile all cards with the same name as the chosen card can be particularly powerful in certain matchups, making it a viable option for consideration in the right deck.

The cards you’re searching for must be found and exiled if they’re in the graveyard because it’s a public zone. Finding those cards in the hand and library is optional, because those zones are hidden (even if the hand is temporarily revealed).
