This card would be beneficial in a ramp or mana acceleration deck that aims to generate a large amount of mana quickly. However, there are better options available, such as Birds of Paradise or Llanowar Elves, which provide mana of specific colors and can also be used for mana fixing. Weaver of Currents may not see much play in competitive decks due to its higher mana cost and limited utility compared to other mana dorks available in Magic: the Gathering.
