Introduction

One of the most interesting things Time Stranger did for the Digimon Card Game was grouping characters and Digimon that, in other circumstances, would hardly see play in the same deck. And all because now they share the same, wide trait: TS. On one side, this allows us to create extremely cohesive good stuff lists centered around a theme. On the other, it makes decks dedicated to this specific trait a bit less original.

Today's list centers around Vulcanusmon BT25-075, but you'll also find Marsmon, several smaller lines, and a huge number of Options. Instead of following a linear progression until you can put into play a level 6 Digimon, you will put different Digimon in play, use Options to interact, and then turn each Link into more attacks.

Without further ado, let's explore it!

Vulcanusmon

The version we'll see today showed up in the hands of a player called Yasaka. They got 1st place at the Area Qualifiers hosted by BANDAI in Tokyo on June 28th, 2026.

Most of the deck includes small Digimon and a considerable number of TS Options. That's because you can play Vulcanusmon itself for 5 less resources when you have less Digimon in play than the opponent. Meanwhile, Factorial Area BT25-102 discounts the cost of a red or black TS Digimon by 3 more. In the end, you'll be able to put your main level 6 Digimon in play directly from your hand for a pretty accessible cost. You won't have to play an entire Digivolution line in your deck to do it.

This list plays Tokomon BT25-001, a pretty simple choice for a strategy so full of different things. Its Inherited effect draws a card, once per turn, when your Digimon attacks, as long as they are TS Digimon.

Nearly all your Digimon are TS Digimon, so Tokomon is actually a small card draw engine that sees play with any TS line. Because you'll run out of cards fast with this list (as you discard them with Coronamon, Meramon, Asuna, and Divine Arms), drawing one extra card during attacks will keep you afloat.

Rookies and Champions

The Rookie base starts with Tapirmon BT24-043, which reveals the top 3 cards in your deck and lets you get a Shaman Digimon or one of the animal Digimon as well as a TS Digimon. In this list, it is a way to get your Olympos XII cards and find another piece. ToyAgumon BT25-064 is also a searcher, as it gets you Options and TS cards.

Coronamon BT25-008 does something different. When it moves, it lets you trash up to 2 Iliad or TS cards to draw that same number of cards back. More than simply swapping cards, this effect will allow you to set up your trash pile for Divine Arms Version Ω BT25-101, Asuna Shiroki BT24-088, and other cards that can recycle your trash or let you reuse resources from there.

These level 4 Digimon lean heavily into the idea of using TS cards together. Blimpmon BT24-058 lets you look at 3 cards and get a Machine, Cyborg, or TS Digimon, or a Tamer. You can add the card you get to your hand or put it underneath a compatible Digimon. Whatever seems best to you.

The other Options show up in smaller quantities. Greymon BT24-010 is a Blocker that De-Digivolves a Digimon by 1 when it is deleted and gives out Raid in its Inherited effect. Aquilamon BT25-011 suspends an enemy Digimon and also has Raid. Firamon BT25-013 recycles a red or blue Iliad Digimon from the trash pile, whereas Meramon BT25-014 allows you to discard TS cards to remove a small Digimon or draw 2 cards when you don't have anything to delete.

This variety might seem a bit random, but it is actually really well-thought-out. You don't need to put all of these Digimon under the same stack. They need to get in, create some value, and sometimes stay as TS bodies that can attack, get Links, or be reused later on.

Vulcanusmon and Marsmon

Vulcanusmon BT25-075 will take all of these pieces and turn them into a real deck. It costs 12, but if you have less Digimon than the opponent, it costs 5 less. With Factorial Area BT25-102, you'll be able to discount its cost even more. Putting it directly in play will be perfectly doable.

When it enters or Digivolves, Vulcanusmon can Link up to 2 cards from your hand or trash pile for free. After that, it De-Digivolves all enemy Digimon by 1 for each Link you control.

That's when you'll start to win. The Options you used in the first few turns can return later on as Links, enable Vulcanusmon, and act as removals. Vulcanusmon itself doesn't force you to Link everything to it. It just considers how many Links are on your board.

Its second effect gives out Rush and Link +1 to all TS Digimon. Like so, you'll be able to rope into this strategy even a body you just put in play, and Link +1 will open some space so that you can keep attaching cards.

Finally, whenever one of your Digimon is Linked during your turn, one of them can attack. This is the effect that defines this entire strategy, particularly after Vulcanusmon enters play. Iron Slash BT25-100 will no longer be just a way to De-Digivolve something, Tidal Stream BT24-091 will not be just a bounce, and Divine Arms Version Ω BT25-101 will not be just a way to draw cards. Each of these Options can also set up another attack this way.

Marsmon BT25-020 is the second level 6 Digimon in this deck and centers more around battle. When it enters, Digivolves, or attacks, it gives 3000 DP to one of your Digimon and lets you attack an enemy Digimon with it.

Furthermore, once per turn, when one of your TS Digimon wins a battle, Marsmon trashes the top card in the opponent's Security. Like so, Raid, Collision, and any battles you forcefully set up will allow you to remove the board without leaving the Security pile aside completely. The single copy of GreatGrizzlymon BT25-054 is primarily as a bridge in this plan, and the Mega is essentially an alternative win condition.

Tamers

Dan Yuki & Kanan Yuki BT24-085 is this list's main Tamer, all 4 copies of it. At the beginning of the Main Phase, it gives you 1 Memory if you have 4 or less, but its most important effect triggers at the end of the turn. When you suspend this Tamer, you can use a TS Option from your hand for free as long as it costs the same amount of Memory the opponent has or less. After that, you can attack with one of your TS Digimon.

This effect fits Vulcanusmon perfectly. You can end the turn with an Option, attach it through Link, trigger an attack through Vulcanusmon's effect, and also attack with another Digimon through Dan and Kanan themselves. This deck can keep going even after you spend your Memory, which is critical, considering each Link should result in another attack.

Monica Simmons BT25-091 is your setter. It also recycles a TS Option from the trash when it enters or draws a card when it doesn't. When you use a TS Option, you can also suspend Monica to prevent an enemy Digimon from attacking until the end of their next turn. The only copy of Asuna Shiroki BT24-088 will filter your hand by allowing you to discard one TS card to draw 2 others.

Options

This list is all about its Options. In-Between Theater BT24-100 is the simplest out of all of them. It lets you look for a TS card among the top 3 cards in your deck and stays in the battle area with a Delay effect that gives you 2 Memory later on. It's basically a Memory Boost.

Factorial Area BT25-102 is one of your main pieces. It essentially replaces the bottom card in your Security with itself but remains face-up. It also gives Blocker to all your black/red TS Digimon. While you control Vulcanusmon, they'll also get Link +1. Finally, its effect lets you play a black/red TS Digimon for 3 less resources as well, which will help you put Vulcanusmon in play.

Your Link Options are your way to interact. Tidal Stream BT24-091 returns to the hand all the weakest enemy Digimon, untaps a TS Digimon if you have returned something, and then lets you Link it to something. As a Linked card, it still returns one of the smallest enemy Digimon when it attacks.

Iron Slash BT25-100 De-Digivolves enemy Digimon by 2, and you can Link it later to give that linked Digimon Collision and Piercing. This fits both Marsmon and anything else you can use to deal damage to the enemy Security through battle.

Finally, Divine Arms Version Ω BT25-101 is the most important Option out of all. When you discard a TS card, this card lets you draw 2 cards and then link it or another TS card from the trash for free. When you link it to Vulcanusmon, it gives it Security Attack +1 and Reboot. It also lets you trash a Linked card to prevent it from leaving the battle area.

Final Words

This deck is pretty great to pilot. I won several matches with it out of nowhere after setting up everything right in a turn. Vulcanusmon is a bit more niche than other Olympos XII members, but it can be quite destructive in average-sized tournaments. I really recommend this build if you like black decks, like I do.
