Introduction
Occasionally, it's difficult to ignore the deck the company behind the TCG in question decided to push alongside a new set. The right pieces are all in the same color or archetype, they give us lots of support for it, and the synergies are obvious.
In today's article, we'll go over one of the decks Bandai is pushing to the top of the meta: Hudiemon, from BT23 - Hackers' Slumber!
The Deck and Main Pieces
The deck we'll see today was created by Tesero, who played it all the way to the top of one of the Eagle's Nest events. Eagle's Nest events are extremely competitive tournaments that, through the internet, connect people all around the world and include big prize pools as well as a lot of booster boxes.
The Hudie archetype centers around Internet Café Hudie characters and Digimon featured in the game "Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth". The main card is Hudiemon.
Here's our list:

Hudiemon

Hudiemon (BT23-101) is critical in the CS and Hudie kits in BT23. She is aggressive, nerfs DP, lets you play more cards on the board, and performs really well with many cards. She also has < Alliance >, so we can use the small bodies in this archetype to buff her and check the security multiple times, particularly as this list also usually keeps many small Digimon in play. Like so, Hudiemon scales quite easily and forces the opponent to answer her or perish.
Her [On Play] / [When Digivolving] effect lets you play a [CS] card, not just Digimon, for free as long as it costs 5 or more, so you'll be able to build your board without using your memory. Next, she gives -3000 DP to a target enemy Digimon for each Hudie you control. This is a consistent way to remove cards, as you can do it every turn and it naturally scales with her first ability.
Her most striking ability is her [When Attacking] [Once Per Turn] effect, which lets you return a CS Tamer to your hand and reactivate her [On Play] effect. Essentially, you'll be able to play another CS card and nerf DP when she attacks, again and again. This loop will also recharge your board, as it'll let you reuse "ETB" (enter the battlefield) Tamer effects, and these are great in the CS archetype. Like so, you'll keep putting pressure on the opponent even in shorter turns. In practice, each of Hudiemon's attacks lets you reuse her excellent effects and keep your opponent in check.
Out of this entire set, Hudiemon BT23-101 is what ties it all together for this archetype, as she takes advantage of a large board, removes cards turn after turn, and recycles On Play effects. Her design favors well-thought-out plays and a consistent pace, and, with her, this strategy will grow with the board and turn each attack into an opportunity to get ahead.
Finally, she is also a level 4 Digimon, so you can easily put her in play, particularly as you can Digivolve her over any level 3 and CS Digimon. Finally, she is a perfect way to follow up a Jogress into a Shakkoumon (BT23-032) because of her colors and her compatibility with this DNA.
The Tamers

The other engines in this deck are your CS Tamers. Keisuke Amasawa (BT23-090) will be your setter and also buffs all your Hudie Digimon with +1000 DP. Furthermore, at the end of your turn, he lets you return a Digimon on your board to your hand to play a CS Tamer for free, which enables a variety of other strategies.

Chitose Imai (BT23-081) benefits strategies with Keisuke Amazawa and Hudiemon because of his [On Play] ability. It lets you play a Hudie Digimon that costs 5 or less from your hand and, as such, is a great follow-up.
Furthermore, this card can also nerf an enemy Digimon by -3000 DP when your Hudie Digimon suspends, which may help you destroy them. Finally, he will also give you memory at the start of your main phase if you have a CS Digimon.

Ryuji Mishima (BT23-085) also has an [On Play] effect. He lets you pick one of your Hudies and protect it from anything that would nerf its DP until the end of the opponent's turn. He also grants that same Digimon Reboot and Blocker, so you can use him to make a few of your pieces a lot more defensive. Likewise, he also lets you use your Hudie options for free - we'll discuss them soon - and, just like Chitose, gives you a bit of memory every turn as long as you have a CS Digimon.

Yuugo Kamishiro (BT22-094) is a searcher for CS cards and a way to reduce their cost. His [On Play] effect lets you look for a CS card among the top 3 cards in your deck. Then, during your turn, you can put him back on the bottom of your deck to discount the cost of a CS Digimon or Tamer by 2. Like so, you'll be able to develop your board and support this entire strategy all at once without spending much memory.

Erika Mishima (BT23-084)'s [End of Your Turn] effect lets you tap her to return a Hudie Digimon to your hand and then play a level 3 CS Digimon in your empty breeding area without paying its cost.
Putting a Digimon in your breeding area won't activate its [On Play] effect, but this tamer will still be able to protect it from any interaction in the opponent's turn. She'll essentially seal it away in a bubble where nothing can hit it. Erika also has an Inheritance effect that activates when she is under a Digimon, more specifically when she is under a Hudiemon, but we'll discuss this soon.
Level 3

We'll start with Wormmon (BT23-040), which lets us sort of DNA Digivolve it and an Erika Mishima into a Hudiemon for 2 resources less. What stands out about this is that you can do it with a Hudiemon in your trash pile, not only the ones in your hand. It lets you recycle your resources, in a way.
Its Inheritance effect gives +1000 power to one of your Hudie Digimon, and then Erika will give Alliance to the Hudiemon that Digivolved from her.

Betamon (BT23-017) recycles resources in your graveyard, while Gotsumon (BT23-048) is a searcher. However, they actually stand out for their [When Attacking] Inheritance effects.
Both let you play from your hand a Hudie that costs 5 or less for free. It will go into play ready to support Alliance, activate its [On Play] effect, and eventually bounce out of play. The only restriction is that it won't be able to Digivolve and will be deleted at the end of the opponent's turn.
Shakkoumon Kit

You'll also have Shakkoumon (BT23-032) at your disposal. When it Digivolves, it forces an enemy Digimon to attack at the beginning of their main phase. You can use this to force unfavorable battles and unwanted attacks, and, if you DNA Digivolve it, it will also De-Digivolve 1 a Digimon.
Furthermore, once per turn, whenever it leaves the battle area because of an enemy effect, it lets you save a level 4 or lower yellow, black, or CS Digimon from its Digivolve stack. That way, you can get some resources back even when you lose your cards. Its Inheritance also does this same thing. To set it up, you'll use a yellow level 4 Digimon with a black or blue level 4 Digimon.

Usually, you'll use Ankylomon (BT23-050) for this, which gets Blocker from its Inheritance effect. When it Digivolves, it also nerfs an enemy Digimon by -2000 DP until the end of their turn. If it's your turn, Akylomon also lets you DNA Digivolve 2 of your Digimon into a [Shakkoumon] you have in hand. Like so, you'll have access to this form earlier than usual and won't have to rely on the traditional way to put these cards in play.

The other half of the DNA is, typically, Angemon (BT23-027), which gets Barrier from its Inheritance effect and protects Shakkoumon. It also draws a card when it Digivolves and does the same thing as Ankylomon: it lets you DNA Digivolve something earlier than usual.

Venusmon BT10-042 is in this deck purely to Digivolve from Shakkoumon. It is one of the strongest floodgates in the game, nerfs attacks, and disables enemy [When Attacking] and [When Digivolving] effects.
Options
Finally, your CS Options. You can ignore all of their color requirements if you have a CS Tamer or Digimon in play. They all have varied effects and overall interact really well with Ryuji Mishima.

Comet Hammer (BT23-046) is your first one. It De-Digivolves 4 an enemy Digimon, which is a lot, both when it enters play and later on when one of your CS Digimon attacks and triggers its Delay effect.
Furthermore, you can activate it from your security for free and put it in play right afterward.

These other options also have a great effect when they enter play and when one of your CS Digimon attacks (their Delay effect).
Wolkenapalm (BT23-091), for instance, deletes the enemy Digimon that has the least amount of DP. Meanwhile, Ice Archery (BT23-092) prevents an enemy Digimon and Tamer from suspending on the next turn and thus prevents them from attacking, activating Alliance effects, or other effects.
Final Words
The bad news about this list is that it is a bit expensive. All its Tamers are SR cards, and Hudiemon herself is a Secret card, the rarest card in the game, so she doesn't pop up in boosters often.
That being said, it is clear this is the deck Bandai wants to succeed in this meta. It features fun interactions that only work in this archetype, is quite simple, plays iconic characters from a game many fans considered quite good, and offers you a variety of plays every turn.
